10 Tips for Happiness & Positive Energy →
Be your own agent: fall in love with knowing your principles & boundaries. You make the call at the end of the day and if it doesn’t feel right or get you fired up/excited… strive for what does. Settling for ok just attracts negative/sub-par outcomes. Strive for what resonates best with you.
Create specific goals: set dates and times that you want to meet your goals. Create stepping stones/milestones along the way - you can celebrate the mini-accomplishments. For example, I want to own a beach house by 2024. So, I set goals each week to make sure that I am that much closer to making it happen (financially, educationally, career-wise etc). Get into the habit of setting reminders on your phone to check in to make sure that you are on the road to accomplish your goal(s).
Be a leader: to lead, advise, and influence gives me motivation. Grow by leading an honest, authentic, and self-accountable life. Know your principles & values (health, adventure, love, joy, family etc) to help give you the direction to be a leader to those around you. For me, being a leader gives me the passion to create meaningful relationships while staying humble and grateful. Have the patience to practice your principles and values to others in ways that help you lead with genuine example.
Think optimistically: try to seek the good in each situation. Make it a priority to have gratitude for what you have. If something bad goes wrong look at what you gained rather than what you lost. For example, if someone takes that time to tell you how you could have done better, make sure that you see this in a way that you get to learn something new and push for better. Think of the good, it will give you the energy to be hungry and appreciate the things that matter most in life and not dwell on the people, things, and problems that are taxing.

Build YOU: fuel to happiness and energy is to build a reputation that you are proud of. My dad always said:
“kiddo one thing that you have that no one else has is YOUR reputation, the decisions you make, the way you treat others, and the words that you communicate is gold.”
Try writing in a daily journal your goals, tasks, accomplishments, and things you are grateful for as a way to check-in with you. Say no to people/things who do not bring you satisfaction or happiness, don’t worry about what others think, those who love you will support you.
Cut out toxicity: limit your time with people who either a. limit you from succeeding b. drag you down. You can do it! Tip: be straight up - say that you have to surround yourself with people who fill your cup and benefit you for the better. Of course, not every day is ‘Hollywood’, you will have days where you need to give advice, be a crutch for a loved one, and be an ear/shoulder. But you will know and feel the toxic people who dim your light and happiness, those people/things don’t deserve your energy.
Rely on YOU: be independent, rely on you to get shit done, and build a life that you dream of. There is no sense in waiting around for a genie to grant you three wishes, make them happen!
Educate: YouTube, free classes, learn from experience, seek a mentor
Invest & save: talk to your financial advisor, learn from masters in the trade, and set goals
Purpose: find something that you're accountable for, a hobby, job, side hustle, pet etc.
Believe: find motivation in knowing that you can! Choose words that make you capable of meeting your goals: I am, I will, I have, I can… rather than: I should, I could, I need, I wish…
Fuel your life: give yourself more credit and fuel it with happiness, nutrition (I love & sweat by Organika Health for supplements & superfoods - Collagen!), positivity, and exercise. Define what success means to you, for me, it’s health, family, curiosity, reputation, meaningful relationships, growth. Whatever it is, be brave and giver for you!
Mentorship: learning from doing, experiencing, and watching from someone who you aspire to be is extremely valuable (schooling vs. experience? experience all the way!). Learning from mentors will teach you the meaning of working hard, building success, and storytelling. Yes, the story of other people’s happenings can be a vault of cheer, leading you to wisdom.
Curiosity: wonder, Google, ask, and research. Questions both open conversation to listen. Listen. And lead you to new understandings in life. Limiting your curiosity is like leaving crumbs in the bed… both uncomfortable and unsettling. Customize your future for success and obsess with curiosity - I am!
Open your arms to happiness it’s there so find joy in what matters most and project contagious energy of drive, motivation, and success.
